Some club managers and owners are CLUELESS about football - Sports Minister Kofi Adams condemns Ayinase violence

Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams has condemned recent violence at Ayinase.

The incident occurred during a match between Basake Holy Stars and Nations FC. The game ended abruptly after Nations FC protested a controversial penalty awarded to the home team. This protest led to chaos, prompting Nations FC to walk off the field.

Minister Adams expressed his disappointment over the situation. He emphasized that club owners and managers need education about game rules. "I have been informed about the unfortunate incident," he said, "but I have not received full details."

He noted that investigations are ongoing into what happened. Adams stressed the importance of educating club owners before addressing fans. He believes some owners lack understanding of football beyond just owning clubs.

Adams also called for stricter punishments for those who cause violence at stadiums. Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed they are investigating the chaos from the match.
