Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has dismissed criticisms calling his team weak, emphasizing that his focus is on consistency and securing victories.
After his side’s 1-0 win over Legon Cities FC, Ouattara told AFA Sports, “Some people say we have a weak team, but we are playing. Every match is a challenge to Hearts of Oak. For now, we need to target maximum points from every game.”
Reflecting on the match, he admitted his team faced difficulties, especially in the first half, saying, “It is normal to lose the 50/50 balls. When the other team is fighting, you also have to fight, but we didn’t fight in the first half. Fortunately, we got the chance to score.” The win lifted Hearts of Oak to second in the league standings.
