Southampton in talks to loan Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana to Genoa

Kamaldeen Sulemana, Southampton's 22-year-old Ghanaian winger, is reportedly set for a move to Genoa, with negotiations underway for a potential loan deal.

Since joining Southampton in January 2023 for £22 million, Sulemana has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League, registering only two starts in nine appearances this season without any goals or assists.

His lack of playing time and frustration were evident, particularly after being substituted in a heavy loss to Tottenham.

Genoa, managed by Patrick Vieira, sees him as a valuable addition. Despite Southampton’s poor form, new manager Ivan Juric has praised Sulemana’s work ethic, leaving the possibility open for his future at St. Mary’s.
