A Spanish government spokesperson denied reports that Barcelona's Dani Olmo and Pau Victor were granted temporary registrations to play in La Liga.
Their registrations expired on December 31, and under La Liga rules, players can't receive a second license with the same club in a single season. Barcelona appealed to the Spanish government and the Higher Sports Council (CSD), hoping for temporary re-registration while their case is reviewed.
However, CSD spokesperson Pilar Alegria clarified that the decision is still under review, and no temporary registrations have been granted yet. The request, which includes over 60 documents, is complex, and the CSD is consulting La Liga and the RFEF before issuing a response.
