Spanish side Real Betis seriously interested in Jonas Adjei Adjetey

Real Betis, a Spanish La Liga team, is interested in Jonas Adjei Adjetey. The Ghanaian defender is 21 years old. He joined the Citizens in 2022 from Berekum Chelsea.

Since arriving at St Jakob Park, he has been impressive. This season, he has made over 30 appearances. He played the full match in a recent game against Luzern. His team won that match 4-0 and secured their 12th Swiss Super League title.

His strong performances have attracted attention from several European clubs. Real Betis and Brentford are currently the frontrunners for his signature. Reports say Real Betis has submitted a €4 million bid to FC Basel.

They hope to finalize the deal quickly for the Black Stars defender. However, Jonas Adjei Adjetey was not included in coach Otto Addo's squad for the Unity Cup tournament in the UK.
