Ghana’s new Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has begun his tenure with a crucial meeting with Ghana Football Association (GFA) officials on February 10.
This follows President John Dramani Mahama’s directive for Adams to prioritize sports reforms, starting with revitalizing the Black Stars.
The President emphasized the need to restore the national team’s past glory and improve all sporting disciplines.
Adams is expected to engage with various stakeholders to ensure a holistic revival of Ghanaian sports.
His mandate includes not only improving football but also enhancing the overall sports landscape in the country under the new government.
