GFA Executive Council member Nana Oduro Sarfo has confirmed that Chinese pay-TV operator StarTimes will resume broadcasting the Ghana Premier League (GPL) in February.
StarTimes initially secured a 10-year, $17.9 million deal in 2016 but suspended coverage due to payment issues.
With no official TV partner, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) had been working with multiple broadcasters, including Metro TV and Net2 TV, to air matches.
Oduro Sarfo stated that once StarTimes returns, they will have exclusive rights, ending the temporary broadcasting arrangements.
This move is expected to enhance GPL coverage and restore consistent live broadcasts for fans.
