Stay focused and disciplined - Abedi Pele tells Black Maidens ahead of WAFU Cup

Ghanaian football legend Abedi Ayew 'Pele' has encouraged the Black Maidens to remain focused and disciplined as they prepare for the WAFU B U17 Girls Cup.

During a visit to their training session at the GFA Technical Center in Prampram, the three-time African Footballer of the Year praised the team's performance and offered motivational advice.

Abedi Pele commended the players for effectively following their coaches' instructions and expressed confidence in their potential to excel in the tournament. "Stay focused and disciplined," he urged, adding that he looks forward to seeing the team dominate.

The Black Maidens have shown strong form in their preparations, recording back-to-back victories against Rootz Sistaz FC and an upcoming match against FC Epiphany Warriors.

Their preparations come after overcoming a two-year ban from CAF for alleged age-cheating in 2022.
