The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to announce a revamped management committee for the Black Stars following the team's failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and a disappointing group-stage exit in the 2023 AFCON.
The previous management team was dissolved after these setbacks. Dr. Randy Abbey will be appointed as Chairman, with former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, FC Samartex president Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, and Greater Accra Regional Football Association chairman Samuel Aboabire joining the committee.
Additionally, the GFA is considering hiring a technical director to support head coach Otto Addo as the team prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, beginning with matches against Chad and Madagascar in March.
