Former Ghana international Stephen Appiah praised the Black Stars' dedication. They recently won 5-0 against Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

This victory ended a six-game winless streak. It also moved Ghana to the top of Group I.

Appiah attended the team's training sessions before the match. He was impressed by their commitment and focus.

"What impressed me was their dedication that week," he said. "I was at training on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and it was fantastic."

However, Appiah warned that Madagascar will present a different challenge.

"The game against Chad is not like the one against Madagascar," he noted. "They have a different style and will bring different strengths."

Appiah is traveling with the team to Morocco for this match. Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is also part of the group.

Ghana will play Madagascar on Monday. They aim to extend their lead in Group I. The match starts at 19:00 GMT.
