The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the Super Eagles squad for the Unity Cup. Several big names are missing from this list.
Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Joe Aribo, and Calvin Bassey will not participate. Felix Agu is only available for training.
Their absence allows fringe players and home-based talents to shine. The Unity Cup features four teams: Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica. It will take place at G-Tech Community Stadium in Brentford from May 27 to May 31.
Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka lead the midfield as Premier League players. Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon add experience to the attack.
The squad also includes rising stars like Nathan Tella and Cyriel Dessers. Local league performers Amas Obasogie and Junior Nduka are also part of the team.
Ghana's head coach Otto Addo will announce his squad next week for the tournament.
