Suspicion continues to grow over €100m sale of VIP seats made by Barcelona

Camp Nou Camp Nou

Barcelona’s financial struggles continue as La Liga questions the legitimacy of their €100m asset sale, used to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

The club sold 475 VIP seats at the future Camp Nou for a 30-year lease, with funds coming from Forta Advisors and New Era Visionary Group (NEVG).

NEVG, based in Dubai, is led by Ruslan Birladeanu, a former Moldovan politician with a fraud conviction.

Barcelona awarded NEVG a telecommunications contract without a competitive bidding process, raising further concerns. La Liga suspects similarities to previous financial maneuvers where asset values were allegedly inflated.

If the contracts are deemed invalid, Olmo and Victor's registrations could be revoked, potentially affecting Barcelona’s salary cap and financial stability. The club insists the process was legal.
