Swiss cyclist Furrer, 18, dies after crash at Worlds

Swiss cyclist Muriel Furrer tragically passed away following a severe head injury sustained at the world championships in Switzerland.

The 18-year-old was involved in a crash during the junior road race on Thursday and was airlifted to the hospital.

Heavy rain affected much of the racing conditions in Zurich that day.
