Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has dismissed claims about his team's performance. He stated that the timing of matches does not affect how they play.
His comments come before Medeama's match against Vision FC on Friday, May 2, at 18:00 GMT. Recent speculation suggested that Medeama performs better in evening games, especially under floodlights.
This discussion gained traction after Medeama's 3-0 win over Young Apostles. In that match, Black Stars defender Kamaradini Mamudu scored two goals in the first half.
Despite this, Coach Tanko emphasized his team's readiness to play at any time. "No, I think every time we are supposed to play, we are ready," he said.
He added that it doesn't matter if the game is at three or six o'clock. The focus should be on giving their best to win.
Currently, Medeama sits seventh in the Premier League table with 44 points.
