Tariq Lamptey has earned two nominations for the Premier League Goal of the Month award for his December performances.
The Ghanaian defender scored a stunning equalizer in Brighton’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa and followed up with a brilliant volley in their 2-2 draw against Leicester City.
Lamptey is up against competitors like Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), and Amad Diallo (Manchester United).
Other nominees include Enes Unal (Bournemouth), Matheus Cunha (Wolves), and Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest).
The 24-year-old, who has been in strong form this season after recovering from a slow start, has scored two goals and provided two assists in seven Premier League appearances.
