Tariq Lamptey scores stunning goal as Brighton held by Leicester

Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey scored a stunning goal for Brighton & Hove Albion in their 2-2 draw against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Lamptey’s left-footed strike into the top corner gave Brighton a 1-0 lead late in the first half.

Despite several missed chances, Brighton doubled their lead when Yankuba Minteh scored. However, Leicester mounted a late comeback, with Jamie Vardy pulling one back and assisting Bobby De Cordova-Reid for the equaliser.

While Brighton missed the chance to move into the top five, Lamptey’s impressive performance and brilliant goal highlighted his attacking prowess and key role in the team’s efforts.
