Jesus Navas received a heartfelt farewell from Real Madrid fans after Sevilla's 4-2 loss to Madrid on December 22, 2024.

The 39-year-old confirmed his retirement at the end of the year due to a chronic hip injury that has affected his mobility.

Navas, who set the Sevilla club appearance record, ends his career 10th on La Liga's all-time list with 516 appearances, just behind Lionel Messi. Despite retiring mid-season, Sevilla supported his decision.
