Tekpetey wins Bulgarian Cup double with Ludogorets

Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has had a successful season with Ludogorets. He helped the team win the Bulgarian Cup and the league title.

Although he did not play in the final against CSKA Sofia, he was part of the winning squad. Caio Vidal scored the decisive goal in that match.

This victory marks Tekpetey's third consecutive Bulgarian FA Cup win. It is also the fourth cup win in Ludogorets' history.

In his career in Bulgaria, Tekpetey has won nine major trophies. This includes five league titles, making him one of Ghana's most successful footballers in Europe.

Tekpetey is a former player for Schalke 04. He was also part of Ghana's squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

He plans to return to Ghana for a summer break before pre-season training starts in July.

Despite interest from clubs in the Dutch Eredivisie, an injury setback has affected his transfer hopes.
