The Club will decide- Mikel Arteta on Thomas Partey’s contract

Arsenal Football Club manager Mikel Arteta is quiet about Thomas Partey’s contract.

Partey, a Ghana international, is nearing the end of his five-year deal. He joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid.

In a pre-game press conference, Arteta discussed Partey's absence. Arsenal will face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League semifinal first leg.

Arteta said they are considering all options for this match. Regarding Partey’s contract, he mentioned progress with all players.

He added, “I’ll leave that to Andrea (Berta) and the club.” The intention to keep Partey is clear, according to Arteta.

Partey had a great performance in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Real Madrid. However, he received a booking in the 85th minute. This means he will miss the PSG first leg on April 29.

He is expected to return for the second leg on May 7.
