Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams expressed his satisfaction with the high quality of football displayed in Friday’s Division One Zone 3 match between Attram De Visser and Hohoe United.
The match, held at the Tuba Astro Turf in Kasoa, attracted hundreds of fans, with Hohoe United aiming to extend their lead at the top of the table, while Attram De Visser fought to escape the relegation zone.
Attram De Visser won 1-0 with a penalty in the second half, securing a crucial victory.
Adams, who attended the match alongside Black Stars assistant coach John Paintsil, praised the competitive nature of the game, stating that the Division One League offered exciting football, even comparing it favorably to some Premier League matches.
His presence underscored his commitment to supporting grassroots football and ensuring balanced attention to all levels of sports in Ghana.
