Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has reaffirmed his ambition to secure more silverware after leading his team to the semifinals of the MTN FA Cup.
Kotoko secured a 2-1 victory over lower-tier side True Democracy in the quarterfinals on Sunday, March 30, at the Baba Yara Stadium, with goals from Saaka Dauda and Kwame Opoku sealing the win.
Speaking after the match, Ogum emphasized his drive for success, stating, “The aim of every coach and player is to win trophies and be remembered. We have to take it game by game, and while our next focus is the league, we will be ready for Berekum Chelsea in the semis when the time comes.”
Beyond the FA Cup campaign, Kotoko also leads the Ghana Premier League, strengthening their push for a dominant season.
