The gospel music industry is pure evil - Esther Smith

Cwesi Oteng recently made a statement that sparked discussions online. He invited gospel singer Esther Smith to share her experiences with "evil" people in the gospel music industry.

In response to Cwesi's story, Esther commented on Facebook. She mentioned that she has faced similar challenges in her career.

She wrote, "This industry can be tough. If you are genuine, they will fight you." She emphasized the importance of prayer in overcoming these struggles.

Esther warned that evil forces can affect relationships, finances, and health. She encouraged others to keep praying and assured them that God would help if they are truly called.

She added, "If I told you my story, you'd feel sorry for me. But I know my redeemer lives. The industry is pure evil."

On Joy Prime’s Changes, Cwesi Oteng shared his experiences entering the gospel music scene. He noted that his unique style led to envy among other musicians.

Cwesi claimed some industry players struggled to accept his approach. They feared he might overshadow their fame.

He alleged that people took his debut album to cemeteries and other mysterious places to hinder his success.

"When I entered gospel music, I brought fresh ideas," he explained. "Doors began opening for gospel music but it also attracted attacks."

He described it as a spiritual war where church members and fellow musicians criticized him. Some people have challenged Cwesi to name names while others agree with Esther about the industry's issues.
