Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has reacted to Arsenal’s hard-fought Premier League victory over Leicester City.
The 31-year-old played 75 minutes as Mikel Merino scored twice in the final ten minutes to secure the win, reducing Arsenal’s gap to league leaders Liverpool to four points.
Partey acknowledged the team's collective strength, posting, *"On days when I’m not at my best, the strength of the team carries us to victory. vamoooosss."*
He has been a key figure for Arsenal this season, making 24 league appearances, scoring three goals, and providing two assists. With four months left on his contract, Arsenal is expected to offer him an extension.
Meanwhile, fellow Ghanaian Jordan Ayew played 74 minutes before being substituted for Stephy Mavididi.
