There will be new faces in yet-to-be constituted Black Stars technical team - Henry Asante Twum

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, confirmed that changes will be made to the Black Stars' technical team ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Reports suggest that assistant coaches John Paintsil and Joseph Laumann may be among those let go.

Asante Twum acknowledged that the restructuring was discussed during the last Executive Council meeting, where contributions from assistant coaches were evaluated.

Although no names were confirmed, he indicated that three individuals were tasked with bringing recommendations.

The changes are expected to be finalized soon to allow new faces to settle before the March qualifiers. The Black Stars, under Otto Addo, failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
