Real Madrid has been enraged following their controversial defeat to Espanyol, and La Liga president Javier Tebas has addressed the situation.

He criticized Real Madrid for creating a narrative of victimhood, particularly regarding their complaints about refereeing. Tebas dismissed their claims, accusing the club of attempting to damage the competition.

He also commented on the Negreira case involving Barcelona, clarifying that while there is evidence of influence on promotion and relegation, no payments to referees have been proven.

Tebas confirmed that La Liga plans to take legal action against Real Madrid for their recent letter, which he described as containing falsehoods and half-truths.
