Tim Henman has condemned Australian Open fans for booing Novak Djokovic after he retired from his semi-final against Alexander Zverev due to injury.

Djokovic, aiming for his 25th Grand Slam title, withdrew with a hamstring issue but faced jeers as he left the court.

Henman called the crowd’s behavior “indefensible,” noting that while Djokovic’s on-court demeanor may divide opinion, he didn’t deserve such treatment.

He also acknowledged Djokovic’s desire for the same admiration as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Djokovic has long had a complex relationship with fans, especially after his 2022 deportation over vaccination status.

Despite criticism and injuries, he remains determined to compete, though 2025 might be his final chance to win another Grand Slam.
