UCL: Partey calls for ‘winning mentality’ ahead of Arsenal-Real Madrid second leg

Thomas Partey says Arsenal are fully prepared for the challenge of eliminating Real Madrid from the UEFA Champions League.

The Gunners hold a commanding three-goal lead heading into the quarterfinal second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, following a 3-0 first-leg win at the Emirates, with goals from Declan Rice and Mikel Merino.

Despite the advantage, Partey stressed the need for focus and a winning mindset. “We all know what we have to do. We have to go there with the mentality to win,” he said after Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brentford in the league.

If Arsenal progresses, they will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Aston Villa in the semifinals.
