Black Stars Coach Otto Addo Praises Team's Second Half Performance
Ghana's head coach, Otto Addo, praised his team's second half against Nigeria. The Black Stars lost 2-1 in the Unity Cup match. This game took place at the G-Tech Community Stadium in England on May 28.
Nigeria led 2-0 at halftime. Cyril Dessers scored first, followed by an own goal from Razak Simpson. In the second half, Brandon Thomas-Asante scored for Ghana.
After the match, Addo expressed satisfaction with his team's improvement. He said, "The second half was really good." He added that he saw positive talent and looked forward to seeing them again.
Despite the loss, Ghana will play Trinidad & Tobago for third place on Saturday. Nigeria will face Jamaica in the Unity Cup final after Jamaica's 3-2 win over Trinidad and Tobago.
