V/R: GFA launches Talent Development and Scouting project attracting 500 basic school students

A Talent Development and Scouting (TDS) project has ended in the Volta Region.

This nationwide project was organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and FIFA. It launched in Ho and Sogakope.

The project included a football festival. Over 500 students from various basic schools participated.

Additionally, 170 community coaches received training. Six coordinators and two regional developmental coaches also attended coaching education sessions.

They learned about talent identification and scouting techniques. The program will now move to the Central Region next.
