WAFCON 2025: Black Queens arrive in Abidjan ahead of 2 int'l friendlies against Ivory Coast

The Black Queens are in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Ghana’s senior female national team is set to play Ivory Coast. They will have two friendly matches during this visit.

The team and coaches checked into Sana Hotels in Abidjan. After an hour of physical training with Coach Jordan Daitey, they will hold an official session. This training is scheduled for 7 PM today, Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Managed by Kim Lars Björkegren, the Black Queens will face Les Elephants tomorrow. This match will take place at Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny in Abidjan.

These international friendlies are part of their preparations for the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
