Accra Hearts of Oak's assistant coach, Nana Yaw Amankwah, spoke after the game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko. His team drew 0-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Despite not winning, he was pleased they did not concede any goals.
Hearts have now gone five games without a win against Kotoko. Amankwah expressed satisfaction with the team's defensive performance. He said, “We are very happy we didn’t concede. We didn’t get the best out of this game, but it wasn’t a bad game.”
The draw leaves Hearts in sixth place in the league standings with 46 points. They are eight points behind leaders Nations FC with four games remaining in the season.
