Kpando Heart of Lions' head coach, Bahir Hayford, has expressed concerns. His team is fatigued before their big game against Young Apostles. This match is scheduled for Sunday, May 25 at 15:00 GMT in Wenchi.
Heart of Lions currently rank third in the Ghana Premier League. They are competing for the league title for the 2024-2025 season.
In a pre-game interview, Hayford criticized the game scheduling. The Kpando team recently played Basake Holy Stars and drew goalless. This match was just days before traveling to Bono Region.
“After coming from Nzema Ayinase, we are going back to Wenchi,” he said. “The boys are tired; there is fatigue among them.”
Despite this, Hayford mentioned they are managing their fatigue levels. He aims to ensure players can perform well on Sunday. Currently, Heart of Lions have 54 points and trail league leaders Nations FC by three points.
