We are not your regular Division One League Club – Hohoe United Administrative Manager

Yusif Alhassan, the Administrative Manager of Hohoe United, believes the club is exceptional. He highlighted their strong infrastructure and financial stability. Their strategic operational model shows their ambition and professionalism.

Despite leading the Access Bank Division One League Zone Three, Hohoe United faced a setback. They lost 1-0 to Attram De Visser at Tuba AstroTurf. This was their fourth defeat of the season.

In an interview with Citi Sports, Alhassan stated that Hohoe United meets all Club Licensing Committee requirements. He feels they are ready for top-tier league competition in Ghana.

He said, "I don’t think Premier League requirements are beyond us." He praised the Hohoe Sports Stadium as one of the best facilities in the country.

Alhassan recalled when Hearts of Lions played there due to venue issues. Major games have been hosted at this stadium without problems.

He acknowledged that financing football is challenging but noted their success so far. "We aim to be a model club," he added. They connect with local businesses to support club finances.

Hohoe United is focused on promotion to the Ghana Premier League. They have achieved 16 wins, 3 draws, and 4 losses this season, totaling 51 points. They currently lead Zone Three, with Port City close behind at 48 points.

Next, Hohoe United will play Golden Kicks in Matchday 24 at Teshie MacDan AstroTurf. Port City will also travel to face Akatsi All Stars FC, who sit in 16th place.
