We did not play football - Hearts coach Ouattara rips into his team following Aduana defeat

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara admitted his team was second best in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Aduana Stars.

Aduana secured the win with two goals. Sam Adams scored in the first half. Ivorian Latif Abdel Bamba added another just before full time.

In a candid post-match assessment, Ouattara said, "Aduana played well, we didn't play football today." He acknowledged that they gave Aduana too many chances to score. "Since the first half, we did not play well," he added.

Ouattara criticized his players' work ethic during the interview. "We did not run enough," he stated. He pointed out mistakes leading to both goals and emphasized their lack of effort.

Wednesday's defeat marked the fourth loss in seven league matches for Hearts. They have managed only one win during this stretch.

Hearts have now dropped to 6th place in the league table with 41 points. Meanwhile, Aduana Stars have moved up to 11th place with 35 points.
