Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is happy to have Thomas Partey back. The Ghanaian player returns just in time for the match against AFC Bournemouth.
In a pre-game interview, Arteta said Partey’s return gives him more options. Partey missed Arsenal's 1-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain due to suspension.
“He’s a starter for us,” Arteta stated. “He’s played the most minutes in his position.” He added that Declan Rice did well in Partey's absence.
Partey has been impressive this season, contributing significantly to the team. His five-year stay at Arsenal has been affected by injuries, but he is healthy now.
This season, he has scored four goals and provided three assists in 47 games. Arsenal will face PSG again on Wednesday, May 7.
