We didn’t keep a clean sheet and I’m not happy about that- Ibrahim Tanko on Medeama win over Basake

Medeama Sporting Club's head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, is frustrated.

His team won 2-1 against Basake Holy Stars. This match took place at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.

Despite the victory, Tanko is unhappy about conceding a goal.

Medeama had recently lost two games to Nations FC and Samartex. Now, they have bounced back with two wins against Aduana Stars and Holy Stars.

Tanko noted that his team created many chances in the first half. He believes they should have scored two or three goals.

He said, “I’m not happy we didn’t get a clean sheet.” However, he felt they deserved to win the game overall.

In another match, Kpando Heart of Lions lost 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars.

With this win, Gold Stars replaced Kumasi Asante Kotoko as league leaders.

Kotoko will face Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi on Wednesday, April 2.
