Minister-designate for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has stressed the urgent need to improve the maintenance of Ghana’s sporting facilities.
He expressed concern over the deteriorating state of stadiums, blaming it on a poor maintenance culture.
Speaking to Joy Sports, Adams highlighted the benefits of regular upkeep, suggesting maintenance contracts as a solution.
He emphasized that proper maintenance would extend the lifespan of facilities and maximize their benefits.
Adams, who underwent vetting on January 30, is expected to officially assume office soon.
