Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has urged an investigation into declining fan attendance at the club's home games, despite their strong performance. This issue has persisted at the Baba Yara and Accra Sports Stadiums over the past three seasons.
Following Kotoko’s 4-1 win over Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League, extending their unbeaten streak to six matches, Ogum expressed disappointment over the low turnout. He emphasized the need for intensified publicity to attract fans.
Kotoko currently sits third in the league, two points behind the leaders, and has advanced to the MTN FA Cup Round of 16.
Ogum called for collective efforts to improve fan engagement, noting that attendance during the Vision FC match was particularly poor.
