Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has voiced frustration over his team’s wasted chances, despite securing a 2-1 victory against Basake Holy Stars at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
While pleased with the win—Medeama’s second in a row—Tanko lamented their inability to finish games early and maintain clean sheets.
“We score, but we must learn to kill the game,” he stressed, noting missed first-half opportunities that could have eased their path.
The victory lifts Medeama to fourth place in the league, while Basake Holy Stars continue their struggles, extending their winless streak to nine matches.
Tanko remains focused on refining his squad’s efficiency as they push for a stronger league finish.
