GFA President Kurt Okraku has reaffirmed his commitment to long-term goals.
He faces challenges but remains focused on progress.
Kurt is in his second term, having taken office in 2019. He succeeded the Normalization Committee.
Speaking about the journey, he acknowledged it hasn't been easy.
The second Vice President of CAF emphasized that progress takes time and teamwork.
“We knew it would take time,” he told Ghana FA media.
He added that reaching their goals involves highs and lows.
“It requires every stakeholder to work together,” he said.
Okraku believes they will reach their destination.
The FA has seen successes, like winning the 2021 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
They secured a spot at this year’s WAFCON with the Black Queens.
The Black Stars also qualified for the 2022 World Cup.
However, there have been setbacks too. The Black Stars exited early from two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
Attendance at Ghana Premier League matches has also been low.
