We will be in America – Stephen Appiah assures Ghanaians

Vice Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Stephen Appiah, has assured Ghanaians that the national team is on course to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana currently tops Group I after back-to-back victories, defeating Chad 5-0 in Accra and Madagascar 3-0 in Morocco. With four matches remaining, Appiah remains optimistic about securing a spot at the tournament.

Speaking to 3Sports, the former Black Stars captain urged fans to continue supporting the team, emphasizing the importance of national unity in the qualification campaign.

“We still have four games to go, but with the determination of the players and support from Ghanaians, we will be in America,” he stated.

The 2026 World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
