We will take a decision in the best interest of Kotoko- Sarfo Duku on Karim Zito’s future

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's Communications Director, Samuel Sarfo Duku, spoke about Abdul Karim Zito. He said the club will make a decision that benefits the Porcupine Warriors.

Zito was appointed as technical director. After the dismissal of head coach Dr. Prosper Ogum, Zito became the lead trainer for the season.

Under Zito's leadership, Kotoko is unbeaten in six games across all competitions. They have qualified for the MTN FA Cup Finals. Currently, they trail league leaders Nations FC by five points after a goalless draw with Bibiani Gold Stars.

After the game against Gold Stars, Duku criticized the officiating but did not comment on Zito's future. He stated, “At the end of the season, we will assess their performance and decide what is best for Kotoko and Ghana football.”

Kotoko will face Golden Kick in the FA Cup Final on June 15 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
