Ghana football is entering a new phase with a revamped Black Stars technical team, and former GHALCA chairman Kudjoe Fianoo has backed the changes.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) restructured the team after assessing last year’s AFCON qualifiers.
German coach Winfried Anton Schafer joins as Technical Advisor, working with Head Coach Otto Addo.
Desmond Ofei is Assistant Coach, Belgian analyst Gregory De Grauwe leads Video Analysis, and Kris Perquy provides psychological support. Issah Amadou and Abdul Rahman Alhassan take charge as Equipment Officers.
Fianoo expressed hope that the appointments will improve Ghanaian football, emphasizing the need for development beyond the Black Stars.
He acknowledged the decision has been made and wished the new leadership success in improving both the national team and local football.
