Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito has questioned why Ghana is always searching for new Black Stars players, attributing it to the country’s poor football development structure.
In an interview with *Graphic Sports*, Zito stressed that Ghana’s junior teams are not consistently producing top talent due to inadequate developmental systems.
He also criticized the media for attacking coaches instead of supporting long-term growth.
The 64-year-old coach cited Sellas Tetteh’s 2009 U-20 World Cup-winning team as a model for successful player development, as many of those players later strengthened the Black Stars.
Zito urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to implement a clear succession plan to ensure a steady talent pipeline and restore Ghana’s football dominance.
