Why didn't we appoint this technical team earlier to support Otto Addo – Kudjoe Fianoo

The Ghana Football Association’s overhaul of the Black Stars technical team has raised concerns, with former GHALCA chairman Kudjoe Fianoo questioning the timing and financial impact of the changes.

Fianoo argues that if Otto Addo needed support, the FA should have acted sooner. He also worries about how the expanded technical team will be funded.

The new setup includes Winfried Anton Schafer as Technical Advisor, Desmond Ofei as Assistant Coach, Kris Perquy as Sports Psychologist, and Gregory De Grauwe leading Video Analysis, along with two Equipment Officers.

Speaking to Peace FM, Fianoo questioned why these appointments were made now and how the costs will be covered.

He also raised doubts about the specific roles of the new staff and whether their appointments were made in consultation with the coach.
