Winning the Ghana Premier League is very difficult after Gold Stars Draw- Kotoko Comms Director

Baba Yahaya of Kotoko is seen in action against Gold Stars.

Samuel Sarfo Duku, the Communications Director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, spoke about the league title. He said winning it will be very difficult. This statement came after Kotoko drew 0-0 with Bibiani Gold Stars at Dun’s Park. They now trail league leaders Nations FC by five points.

Kotoko will face Medeama SC and Vision FC next. Duku believes winning the title is still possible but challenging. He noted that missing three points in Bibiani made it harder. “Our title ambition is still on,” he said, “but it’s now a very difficult task for us.”

Duku mentioned how well Nations FC is playing. He expressed hope that they might lose some games.

Kotoko played without striker Kwame Opoku, who joined the Black Stars for the Unity Cup. Coach Karim Zito discussed Opoku's absence during his post-game press conference.
