Vitor Pereira has agreed to become Wolves' new manager on an 18-month contract, with the Premier League club paying around 1 million euros to release him from his role as manager of Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab.
Pereira, 56, previously managed Porto and Olympiakos, and is set to make his debut with Wolves at Leicester on Sunday.
Wolves, currently second bottom in the Premier League, have struggled this season, losing 11 of their 16 games, leading to the sacking of manager Gary O'Neil.
Pereira, who guided Porto to two Primeira Liga titles and Olympiakos to a Greek Super League title, will look to turn around Wolves' fortunes. Meanwhile, forward Matheus Cunha faces a misconduct charge.
