Matheus Cunha has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association following Wolves' 2-1 loss to Ipswich.
The Brazil striker, who scored Wolves' equaliser, allegedly acted improperly during a post-match confrontation, where footage showed him elbowing an Ipswich security member and taking his glasses. Cunha has until December 19 to respond.
Wolves' defeat, their 11th in the Premier League this season, led to the sacking of manager Gary O'Neil and his staff. Cunha, who has scored eight goals this season, could face a ban.
Additionally, Rayan Ait-Nouri was sent off after the match. Wolves sit 19th in the Premier League, five points from safety.
