Women's football: Ghana beats Senegal 1:0, rematch tomorrow April 8

Ghana's Black Queens defeated Senegal's Teranga Lionesses 1-0 in a friendly match.

The game was held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Stade Lat-Dior in Senegal.

Evelyn Badu scored the only goal in the 24th minute. She headed the ball in after a precise cross from Princess Marfo.

Despite losing Anasthesia Achiaa to a red card in the 63rd minute, Ghana held on for the win.

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, both teams will play again. This match is part of a nine-day training tour.

The tour aims to improve their strategies for the upcoming Morocco 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
