World Relays: Ghana drawn against Great Britain and France in Heat 1

Ghana faces tough competition in Heat 1 of the World Relays. The event takes place on Saturday in China.

Team Ghana arrived in Guangzhou on Thursday. They hope to secure a spot at the World Championships in Tokyo later this year.

Six teams will compete for two automatic spots in Heat 1. These teams are Ghana, Great Britain and NI, France, Korea, Colombia, and Poland.

In Heat 2, Olympic medalists South Africa will compete. They will face strong teams like Jamaica and Germany.

The top two teams from each heat qualify for the finals. They also earn automatic slots at the 2025 World Athletics Championships.
